Bones Helper Generator
Bones helper generator is a simple Blender python script.
After executing, it will generate a helper on each bone origin, for the selected armature.
The helpers have automatically a "child of" constraint applied to them, for the bone on which origin they have been generated.
The helpers are automatically renamed to MT_"Bone Name".
The plugin allows you to choose the shape of the helpers between Square or Sphere, and their size. This is the only thing you can customize, unless you change the script yourself. I do not plan on updating it or modify it. It is practical for things like motion capture helpers, or retargeting, because you don't need to create all the helpers manually, hence allowing you to save a lot of time.
So yeah. Very simple script. If you need to place a helper on every bone on an armature, this will save you a LOT of time. Good luck!
How to use: Drag and drop the downloaded Bone_Helpers_v1.py into the Blender text editor, and press the Play button. A menu will appear on your N panel in the viewport called "Helpers To Bones". Select an armature, set your helper shape and size, and press generate.
